Rajim kumbh 2015 - Chhattisgarh

Every year Rajim Kumbh is celebrated during Mahashivratri on ghats of River Mahanadi.

The `Rajim Kumbh` will be inaugurated by the Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Gaurishankar Agrawal at Muktakashi Manch at 7 pm on February 3. A number of seers and saints including Agnipeethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Ramkrishnanandji Maharaj, Asang Saheb, Pragya Bharti and Yudhishthir Lal will participate in the inaugural ceremony which will be presided over by Minister for Religious Trusts and Endowment Bijmohan Agrawal.  Officials said that the Rajim Kumbh Mela will be organised from Magh Purnima to Mahashivratri between February 3-17.

10th March on Mahashivratri, Rajim Kumbh 2013 came to end with celebrations, River Puja and Shahi Snan(Sacred Bathing).
