To provide better facilities to the citizens of the state, public transport department of Chhattisgarh will start city bus service in 54 cities soon.
451 city buses will cover 54 cities. 54 of the 22 largest cities, small urban core city being added.
Now Raipur and Durg Railway stations are directly connected to Raipur Airport (Mana Airport or Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, Chattisgarh)

Planning of City Bus
Department of Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Raman Singh's special initiative, Chhattisgarh 451 city buses for 54 cities with 222 crore cost Plan has been approved by the Central Government under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission.
Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister has instructed to Urban Administration Department officials to implement the plan as soon as possible.
22 clusters including big cities have been created in this plan.
Raipur has already started this service in 4 routes.
